Week of Training – March 13 – 19

Last week was decent. It’s always hard when we travel with Nate and his team because I have very little time to get anything in. So I’m considering last week a good week with being out of town for half of it!

Monday: 8 miles @ 8:01 pace

Tuesday: AM: 6 miles @ 8:37 pace on the trails. Felt so so good to be back on them! finally not iced over. PM: 3 miles @8:30 pace running with the ISU girls on their cool down.

Wednesday: 7.5 miles @ 8:25 pace. Felt so tired for some reason

Thursday: Didn’t run. Nate left at 5:30 am for Vegas. We decided last min to join him so we packed up and drove halfway down to Utah county.

Friday: 10 miles @ 7:30 pace. My awesome mother-in-law watched my babies so I could get a run in before we drove the rest of the way down to Vegas. I was feeling decent so the last 3 miles I decided to bring down the pace…my last 3 miles were 7:12, 7:02, 6:45. It hurt. Definitely outta shape! Counted this as my mini workout for the week

Saturday: 3 miles @ 8:18 pace. Nate didn’t even stay in the same hotel room with us so I was on my own with the kids pretty much all day. We got to the meet and the only time I was able to squeak in a run was running with my girl Sasha on her cool down after she raced. How it goes when we go to track meets…they are super fun, but very little time for myself. Worth the sacrifice in my running.

Sunday: Off

Total: 37.5 Miles & a lot of fun in Vegas!

After I ran in at the meet giving Corra a belly rub haha 🙂

-till next week-
