(we did ice sculpting one night, this is what he made 🙂
For the majority of the time that Nate and I dated and were engaged we had to do the distance thing. He went to SUU and I was at U of U. 4 hours apart. I hated it. Let me say that again, I hated it. I missed him so much! He definitely loved me and he proved it too. He drove up every weekend that we didn’t have races. Any excuse at all he was up holding me and showing he cared. Out of many reason, of course, I had to marry the kid after all the gas, right? 😉 Nate truly is the one thing that I can’t leave the house without now. We are so blessed to be able to do SO much together now. Since getting married, we worked at the same store over the summer (and they were kind enough to schedule us together), and now that we are in ATL, we get up early in the mornings and go to practice together, go to school (kind of together, we see each other here and there throughout the day), then drive home together, grocery shop together, do errands together, eat together, sleep together (I can’t go to bed without him, sometimes to his dismay)… we pretty much are connected at the hip. I love it. He is crazy sometimes and can’t believe that I haven’t gotten sick of him yet! haha. I will never get sick of this champ of mine. I love doing everything with him. It just makes everything better. Since getting married, I have felt more calm, peaceful, happy, and lively than ever before. He makes me one happy camper. I love you Nate.
P.S. I thought of Nate first when I read what I was supposed to blog about. The second thing that came to mind is something that I want to work at never leaving the house with. I want to leave the house each day with a smile on my face, twinkle in my eye, and a great and strong purpose of heart.
